Mr. Shortt, thank you for your insight on this issue. I wish that Sardaukar will permit us to use his name openly, thus eliminating the need to remove the comments that now seem to violate the rules of these forums. I must personally state that I'm a strong advocate for omitting the nicknames and using everyone's real name in discussion. After all, that gives some weight to their posts and opinions.

However, if your post was your last one, as you told us (which would be unfortunate), I wish to thank you once again for your views about Ryoi Shinto Ryu. It, sadly, wouldn't be a first martial art that has been unjustifiedly degraded by Bullshido.net.

Mr. Shortt,

some earlier messages were removed due to some violations towards the rules of this messageboard (specifiedly: personal information presented without mutual agreement). My post was removed due to that very same reason. Thus I shall recompose my message and ask those questions without any personal information about the individual known here as "Sardaukar".

It is probably undeniable that you, Mr. Shortt, are a remarkable martial artist (as stated by Mr. Aittomäki here in several occasions). However, how would your respond to Sardaukar's accusations about exaggerating your credentials? I believe that several readers of these forums would appreciate your insight on that area.

How about the case of Ryoi Shintô Ryû? Where have you studied it and how would you respond to the claims that the style in question has ceased to exist in Japan already in the late 19th or very early in the 20th century?
